Place your ships on your grid, then take turns firing at your opponent’s. Hit, sunk: the first to sink the whole enemy fleet wins.

The rules
Goal
- The first to sink the whole enemy fleet wins. 20 seconds per shot.
Your fleet
- A 10 × 10 grid and five ships: carrier (5 squares), battleship (4), cruiser (3), submarine (3) and destroyer (2).
- Place your five ships in secret: tap one to move it, tap it again to rotate it.
Shots
- Then take turns firing at each other’s grid. Hit: you go again.
- A ship with every square hit is sunk, and everyone sees it.
Tips
- Shoot in a checkerboard: the smallest ship covers two squares, so every other square is enough to find it.
- After a hit, aim at the four neighbouring squares to find which way the ship lies.
- Don’t put your ships next to each other: one hit would give away two.
