The rules
Goal
- The first to line up four chips wins — across, down or diagonally.
Your turn
- The grid has seven columns and six rows. Who starts is drawn at random.
- Tap a column: your chip drops to the bottom.
- 20 seconds per move. Let two turns in a row slip by and you lose the game.
Game over
- Four in a row: victory. Full grid with no line: draw.
Tips
- Take the centre: the middle column is part of the most possible lines.
- Before each move, check whether the other player already has three in a row to block.
- Set up two threats at once: they can only block one.
